GNC represents a cybersecurity advocacy group in business with membership spread across sectors since 2008 and Organised Private Sector. The President of GNC is also the National Coordinator of the Digital Economy Trade Group of NACCIMA, an umbrella body representing all Chambers of Commerce and industry in the county with over 10M memberships across the country.

GNC is facilitating a cybersecurity program for Merchants and SMMEs in the country. In addition, GNC is currently mentoring young groups of professional, ethical hackers, including the Dairy of Hackers group, comprising a group of young cybersecurity professionals with over 1000 memberships across institutions in Nigeria.

GNC is also incubating the formation of the Nigeria Cybersecurity Society. Nigeria Cybersecurity Society is a professional cybersecurity industry initiative for individual practitioners and corporate entities across all of Nigeria's economic sectors. The objective is to serve as the official representative and face of the cybersecurity industry in the country. The society will facilitate industry-academia-government cooperation in cybersecurity research, innovation, and professional development.
