It is the prerogative of the Board of Directors to review, nominate and appoint members of GC in line with its guidelines and policy. The Secretariat of GNC provides a global administrative office and operational support for the GWC under statutorily guidelines and operating laws.

Roles and Purpose of the Vice Presidents :

The Vice Presidents serve as members of the global Council and working committee (GC &WC) of the GNC. In addition, they serve as Ambassadors of the organisation, representing, promoting, and managing GNC relations in their respective regions, providing capacity resource support, guidance, and advice to the GNC on strategy, policy, and activity in support and pursuit of the overall objectives.

Vice Presidents members represent their respective communities, present individual views, and ensure close cooperation with the President of GNC, promoters, the board, management, and partners, including the Secretariat of GNC.

Terms of Reference

1. Engage with the President and Management on the strategic direction of the GNC and its continuous development and refinement as an influential global non-profit organization in the digital world. It involves participation in occasional reviews, evaluations, programs, policies, project initiatives, and implementation.
2. Collaborate on developing projects, programs, new priority areas that fall within the mandates of GNC, and recommend actions or interventions to address priorities.
3. Ensure regional registration of GNC program and international non-government in line with regional regulatory requirements.
4. Participate in monitoring, program and project development, and evaluation reports of the GNC progress updates to the board.
5. Provide oversight on the utilization and accountability of the donor funding support for GNC.
6. Advise on global management risks that may affect the achievement of GNC objectives and advise the President on risk management strategies.
7. Support President in mobilizing regional stakeholders and resources to maximize the overall reach and impact of the Centre.
8. Provide strategic advisory on the quality, accountability, compliance, transparency, relevance, and integrity of projects, programs, and capacity development programs in line with GNC objectives and national and international developmental and economic goals.
9. Advise on projects, programs, research development, assessment for donors' support criteria for allocation strategies, cluster defenses, and at any other stage as may be required by the GNC management.
10. To help identify potential funding sources and opportunities for commissioned programs, projects, advocacy, and other relevant initiatives.
11. To act as ambassadors on behalf of GNC, attending key events where possible and networking with critical players/audiences on its behalf in the region, and facilitating regional partnership and collaboration opportunities for GNC
12. Support the President and Management in any action requiring additional support and lobbying of government/UN/World bank, other consultative organizations, and committees relevant to GNC objectives.
13. Participate in GNC Global Working Committee meetings and ensure that the organization can accomplish its mandate and support the President in global agenda setting.
14. The Vice Presidents act as a consultative body on GNC concerns, actively support consultations with partners across the community, and support the GNC on representation when requested.
